A charming experience in a historic setting

Super cozy stay in this old hotel with a ton of character. The bar area just oozes charm! Had a delicious dinner in the restaurant. the German dishes were super tasty. The only tricky part was parking during busy times, but it wasn't a huge deal. loved the vibe here!

friendly staff

the hansa is a beautiful hotel right in the center. it's close to the sea front and all the little shops. we celebrated my 60th birthday there, and the staff went above and beyond with special requests like organizing lovely flowers. breakfast had a great variety too.

The rooms were very clean and quiet, providing a restful environment. The comfortable beds made for great sleep, truly a highlight. Breakfast was very good, offering a variety of options that catered well to different tastes. I also enjoyed the lovely garden view, which added a nice touch to my stay.

The requirement to wear trousers in the bar was a bit restrictive for an informal setting.

The hotel is in a great central spot, perfect for visiting local attractions like the famous Cape Cross seal colony. Celebrating my 60th birthday here was lovely, made even better by the staff who beautifully arranged flowers for the occasion. Our suite was spacious and inviting.
